KATSU!
KATSU! is a biannual arts anthology devoted to human work: poetry, photography, essays, short fiction, visual art, and cultural thought.
In Zen tradition, katsu is a shout meant to wake someone from discursive thinking. We are drawn to work that cuts through the noise and asks something of its reader. Art that does not simply make bright observations, but compels us to examine ourselves.
We publish work that feels awake.
Each issue, contributors may be invited to collaborate with us on a limited clothing design drawn from their work. The pieces will be produced in small runs, with contributors receiving a share of every sale.
